The AutoMenus Converson utility is provide to give you a means of converting all versions of AutoMenus into the full retail version. This way, when a new version of AutoMenus is released, you can easily have access to its full capabilities almost instantly.
The conversion utility works much better than the old keycode-only type of demo protection since you only have to enter the password once. You won't need to remember the key code anymore. Once you type it in the conversion utility, its remembered forever. Just be sure to keep a copy of the AM Converter in a safe place.
The first time you run AM Converter, a dialog like the one below will appear asking you enter the key code and your name or company.
 
NOTE: If you have not registered AutoMenus, this application will do nothing for you. It needs the key code before it will do anything or go any farther than the dialog above.
If you entered the correct key code, AM Converter's main window will appear.
There are only four commands available in the file menu.
Instructions. Select this item to gain more information about converting your copy into the full retail version. It might contain last minute changes or instructions not included in this documentation.
Convert. Selecting this will produce a standard file dialog box asking you to locate the copy of AutoMenus you wish to convert. Just navigate through as you normally would finding the copy and pressing 'Open' or <Return>. A dialog will appear notifying you of success or failure in the conversion.
Strip. Use this to strip the key code from AM Converter. You will need to do this if the key code changes or you wish to distribute AM Converter to another BBS. In order to enter a new key code, you must strip the old one first.
YOU MAY NOT DISTRIBUTE A KEY CODED COPY OF AM CONVERTER. STRIP THE KEY CODE USING THIS COMMAND IF YOU WISH TO DISTRIBUTE IT.
Quit. Quits AM Converter and returns you to the Finder.
